JACKSONVILLE. Fla. — McCall Service announced its transition to a regional structure by creating a Northern and Southern Service Region. Along with implementing the new structure, McCall Service has announced key promotions to facilitate strategic goals.
The Northern Region will be made up of existing operations servicing North Florida, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina, including their Northern Wildlife Division, Jacksonville Lawn Branch, Jacksonville Pest & Termite Branch, Tallahassee Branch, Albany Branch, and Savannah Branch as well as new locations as McCall Service continues to grow.
The Southern Region will be made up of existing operations that service North Central, Central and Southwest Florida including the: Southern Wildlife Division, Gainesville Branch, Ocala Branch and Tampa Branch, as well as all new locations McCall Service adds as they continue growth in Central Florida, along the Space Coast, and throughout Southwestern Florida, particularly along the I-4, I-95, and I-75 corridors.
Along with this transition, McCall Service has appointed two Regional Managers who will serve the Northern and Southern regions.
Roger Collins is being promoted to Regional Manager for McCall’s Northern Region. Roger is a 26-year industry veteran and has been with the McCall Family for over 18 years. Roger started as a branch manager for McCall in the Tallahassee market and was promoted to branch manager of Jacksonville in August of 2006. Roger is a certified operator in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama; is an A.C.E. Entomologist; and served as a Region 5 director for FPMA. Roger is married with 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren (5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter). Like a true Floridian, Roger’s hobbies are fishing (saltwater and freshwater), beach time and getting down to his favorite vacation spot: the Florida Keys.
Lee Keller was promoted earlier this year to Regional Manager for the Southern Region and will now take on the remainder of those responsibilities throughout our Southern Region. Lee started with McCall in 2015 as the Ocala Branch Manager. He was then promoted to Regional Manager of McCall’s Southern Region in 2018, covering Lake City to Key West. Lee harbors aspirations of adding the Caribbean Islands to his territory, soon. Lee is a 30-year veteran of the pest management industry. He started in the Lawn & Ornamental and plant and tropical nursery side of the business in Tampa Bay. Lee holds and maintains state certifications in Lawn & Ornamental, Fumigation, General Household Pests and Rodents, Termite and other WDO’s, Public Health, Right of Way, Aquatics and a National Wildlife certification. Lee is a member of many industry organizations as well as service and fraternal organizations. Lee resides in Inverness, Florida with his spouse and two stepchildren where he enjoys his passions; auto racing and music.
Additional Key Promotions
Nathan Devaney is being promoted to General Manager of the following branches: Jacksonville Lawn, Jacksonville Pest & Termite, and Fuel Oil and will be reporting to Roger Collins. Nathan is a 16-year veteran of the lawn and pest management industry. Nathan holds licenses in lawn, ornamental, mosquito, ROW, and pest control. Nathan draws from his experience in front line positions across sales and operations to provide him with perspective on business issues. Nathan moved to sunny Florida from Minnesota in 2018. Nathan lives in Green Cove Springs with his wife of 13 years, two children, and a brand-new bull mastiff. Nathan and his family enjoy swimming in the Florida sun and gaming together as a family.
Isaiah Ellison, upon completing the company’s Senior Management Trainee program, is being promoted to Manager – Talent Recruitment & Retention | Government Contracts, where he will report to Kayla Carrol, Jerry Hall and Cindy Lee, as appropriate. Isaiah joined the McCall Family as our first Senior Management Trainee, in December 2019, and has enjoyed meeting all the new people throughout his training. He could not be happier with his decision to join McCall and hopes that he is able to continue to learn and grow, while making a positive impact at McCall as we pursue our goal of being a destination employer for our industry and our region.
Josh Cooksey, upon completing the company’s Senior Management Trainee program Josh, is being promoted to Branch Manager of the Tampa Bay branch, Acquisition Integration Team Lead, and will continue progressing through the Cooksey 3G Transition program. Josh grew up around the family business in Jacksonville. He spent his high school summers laying sod and digging termite trenches for McCall. Upon finishing high school, Josh went to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, graduating in 2014 with a degree in systems engineering. Josh commissioned as an Armor Officer and spent the following five years serving in a variety of organizations and roles within the US Army. Following this time of service, Josh attended business school at the University of Florida, graduating with an MBA, concentrated in finance. Josh joined the team at McCall in May 2020 and is excited to serve its customers throughout the Southeastern United States as McCall continues its growth story.
Jennings Cooksey is being promoted to Executive Vice President | Strategy, Business Development & General Counsel as he continues to assist McCall with its growth story. Jennings is a “recovering attorney” and first of the 3rd generation of Cooksey members to join McCall after serving as an officer in the Army, working in the logistics industry, and practicing business law (before realizing that pest management was a better business). At McCall, Jennings began as the Tallahassee branch manager and “in-house” attorney. He now wears many hats while designing and implementing strategies and processes for profitable business growth through effective strategic planning, improving gross margins, re-energizing culture, developing teams, stabilizing operations, rigorous capital allocation, business development, and operations management. Jennings also leads the corporate development and strategy team to source and close on acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and joint ventures. Jennings is married to the woman of his dreams; a father of three boys, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Golden Retriever; a bibliophile; and an aspiring traveler.
