The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) has extended the Global Bed Bug Summit early-bird registration rates to Friday, Nov. 20. As Pest Management Professional has previously reported, the event will take place on a virtual platform Dec. 2-3, and will highlight bed bug research and education as presented by several industry thought leaders — including its premier sponsor, BedBug Central.

“The Global Bed Bug Summit is an incredibly important specialty meeting for our members who provide bed bug services,” NPMA CEO Dominique Stumpf, CAE, CMP, stated in a news release. “We’ve invested in a state-of-the-art platform to create an exceptional virtual experience for attendees and our industry suppliers.”

The summit covers bed bugs from legal, technical, business and customer-oriented angles so pest management professionals (PMPs) can not only eliminate bed bug issues, but also create an environment of trust between themselves and their customers. According to the news release, it also features:

  • EXPO Central, offering PMPs 24/7 access to the latest bed bug products and technologies;
  • networking roundtables;
  • increased engagement with industry experts; and
  • the benefit of easily accessible recertification credit (CEU) opportunities with no travel required.
