The British Pest Control Association has put together some guidance for pest management companies in light of recent government announcements regarding the reopening of many businesses and an easing of lockdown restrictions.
Using the government guidelines around working safely during the COVID-19 pandemic, the BPCA has created a health and safety guidance document for pest management companies.
The document includes advice about risk assessments, commuting, using vans and what to do if you have an office/shared workspace.
BPCA chief executive Ian Andrew said: “The guidance can be used by those businesses planning to reopen, as a tool to help them prepare, and by businesses who have remained open but are looking to make their procedures more secure.
“As Coronavirus lockdown measures ease in the UK, it’s important that we all take every precaution we can to remain safe, while continuing to effectively protect public health and safety.”
The guidance is available for both BPCA members and non-members, by clicking HERE.
