Joe Barile is the technical service lead, pest management & public health for Environmental Sciences unit Bayer. Barile’s been involved in the pest control industry for 42 years, including time spent as a pest control technician, technical director and extension entomologist at the University of Massachusetts. He’s worked on the manufacturing segment of the industry since 1986. Barile will discuss the variables and considerations in choosing an effective insecticide product for your exterior perimeter service. Variables to consider include: target pests; seasonality; your service interval/schedule and more. He will also discuss formulation choices and the value they bring in performing on the surfaces challenging your efforts to prevent callbacks and how Bayer formulation science has provided innovation to the pest management industry. Barile will provide tips for optimizing your efforts and how using other formulations in combination can contribute to success.
